According to a
brief piece from Kuwait's News Agency, KUNA, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) issued a communique following a meeting on Sunday that "called on Iraq anew" to return Kuwait's
missing national archives and "comply with all UN resolutions related to the former regime's invasion and occupation of Kuwait in 1990-91." The GCC also reportedly "urged the UN and relevant organizations to contribute to helping Iraq honor its international obligations" while also reasserting the GCC's "commitment to the sovereignty, independence and territorial unity of Iraq."
